WORKSHOPS+EDUCATION

For over 20 years, Teo has mentored and trained emerging artists in theater and spoken word. His pioneering work with young artists has had a lasting impression on arts development in South Florida. For nine seasons, he coached WordSpeak, Tigertail Productions' Spoken Word Poetry Team, and took them to the international Brave New Voices Slam Poetry Festival. Teo also directed Dranoff Foundation's Piano Slam performed at The Adrienne Arsht Center for 7 seasons.

Teo is currently developing/directing a new theater piece with Iraq War veterans The Combat Hippies, who promote "post traumatic growth” through writing and performance. This project is supported by a generous grant from the Knight Foundation.
